Travel for a day at sea until you reach the next stop, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. Spend the day exploring or relaxing on the island before heading off for another overnight trip to the final port of call, St Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. The Carnival Dream then departs in the evening for a two-day trip back to Florida.
A five-day eastern Caribbean cruise, including stops in Nassau, Bahamas, and Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos islands, is offered once in December, according to the 2010 schedule.
The Carnival Dream also departs from Port Canaveral (typically on the alternate two or three Saturdays of the month) all year long for seven-day cruises to the western Caribbean. Passengers spend the first two nights traveling from Florida to the first port of call in Cozumel, Mexico, where they spend the day. The ship then travels every night for the next three nights with daily stops at three tropical ports of calls, including Belize, Isla Roatan and Costa Maya, Mexico. The final two nights are spent at sea returning to Port Canaveral.

Carnival Cruise Lines calls the days in the Carnival Dream's itineraries a "Fun Day At Sea." Special features and highlights include an adults-only section with whirlpools, bar service and shaded areas to sit and relax. The Cloud 9 Spa has a Thalassotherapy pool that massages guests with jets of seawater and offers spa treatments and a modern fitness center. Travelers can also spend the day at Carnival WaterWorks, a mini water park, or play a round of miniature golf. Age-appropriate activities are offered for kids, ranging from age two to 17.
