Small Boat Cruises to Greece

Greece is a convenient destination for those interested in both laying out on the beach and relaxing and visiting historical sites and museums. Athens is the modern and ancient capital of Greece and contains the ancient Acropolis and the Acropolis museum as well the National Archaeological Museum. After enjoying the history in Athens, most tourists venture on a cruise of the Greek islands. Greece has 1,400 islands, 227 of which are inhabited. Small airplanes, ferries, hydrofoils and catamarans connect most of the islands. Cruising from island to island on a small boat is a convenient way to see much of Greece.
