How to Take a Norwegian Cruise Line Cruise

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), founded in 1966, operates 15 cruise liners. Their itineraries include Alaska, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Hawaii and other ports around the world. Norwegian Cruise Line is known for its spacious and varied cabins and "Freestyle Cruising," a concept that allows passengers to choose their style of dress, their time and place at dinner and their dining companions.

Enjoy Freestyle Dining. NCL's "Freestyle" dining policy allows passengers to choose from up to 13 different restaurants onboard. Have sushi one night, pizza the next and fine French cuisine the following night. You can also choose the time you eat and your dining companions.

Treat your family to a Garden Villa. NCL offers some of the most unique-and spacious-cabins afloat. The most spectacular of these are the Garden Villas, three-bedroom, three-bath units, with private sundecks, a living area with a baby grand piano and access to an exclusive courtyard with a pool, sun deck and hot tub.

Participate in NCL's Golf Program. Norwegian Cruise Line, the "Official Cruise Line of the PGA," offers excursions to some of the best golf courses in the world, including Mauna Lani in Hawaii and the Port Royal course in Bermuda. In addition, NCL offers Callaway golf club rentals onboard and a driving range to practice your swing.

Dress as you please. Norwegian Cruise Line has no rigid dress code. If you enjoy formal wear, you'll find plenty of others that share your interest. If you'd rather dress casually while on vacation, you won't be told to wear a tie and jacket.
