Pack light. Bring casual clothing for lounging on the ship's deck as well as comfortable shoes to wear when you explore the port city. Even though Norwegian Cruise Line's freestyle cruises are quite casual, you may want to bring a dressy outfit or two.
Attend the show on the first night of your Norwegian Cruise Line cruise. Avoid sitting in the front row if you don't feel like going on stage and participating.
Eat at one of the main dining rooms. Try one of the vegetarian options, such as Moroccan Rice Cakes. The salmon appetizer is excellent. The buffet also has good food, but the lines can be long.
Book a snorkeling tour at one of the Norwegian Cruise Line ports. Make sure to bring waterproof sunscreen and re-apply it often.
