Where is the river Tyne?

The River Tyne is located in Northeastern England. It is formed by the confluence of two rivers, the North Tyne and the South Tyne, which meet at its confluence in Hexham, Northumberland. From there, the Tyne flows eastward for 84 miles (135 kilometers) before emptying into the North Sea at Tynemouth. The Tyne is the largest river in Northumberland and the seventh largest in England.
