When was the Stockton bridge in Newcastle opened?

The Stockton and Darlington Railway opened in 1825, with a wooden viaduct across the River Tees designed by architect Ignatius Bonomi, and this continued in railway use until the 1950s. This was replaced by the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, on the same site, which opened on 18 July 1984.
