The Fastest Civilian Planes

Military aircraft are capable of traveling at astounding speeds, but civilian and commercial aircraft are no slouches either. The Concorde was introduced in the 1960s and was the fastest commercial aircraft in the world until it was retired nearly 40 years later in 2003. Since then, other manufacturers have stepped forward to bring innovation, speed and comfort to the commercial aircraft industry.
