Pack your camper equally on both sides. Your camper's interior is designed to have space to store items on both sides and it is important to make sure both sides of the camper are packed equally. Failure to do this will result in the camper being too heavy on one side, which is dangerous when you have to make a turn.
Check the trailer's load rating to determine how much weight your camper can support. Each size and make of trailer has a different load rating. If you're worried that you're carrying too heavy of a load, find a commercial weigh scale to make sure the camper is within limitations.
Secure any packed objects that might slide around or fall while the camper is in motion. Use ropes or other restraints to tie cupboard doors shut. This will ensure that everything stays put and the weight doesn't shift around. It will also protect your property from being damaged.
Fold up any beds in the camper and secure them so they don't open while the vehicle is in motion. Again, this will prevent the load distribution from changing.
Pack the trailer's contents in order of what you might need. Don't pack items you will need during the trip at the back of the trailer --- keep the most important items near the front where you can easily access them.
