Put on gloves and safety goggles. Drill a hole in each end of the crack to prevent it from spreading. Use sawdust or other absorbent material to soak up any leakage. Dispose of the sawdust in a garbage bag. Remove gloves and goggles.
Drive the RV to a dump station and empty the wastewater tank.
Park the RV in a well-ventilated area. Clean the area around the crack or break with acetone or rubbing alcohol. This will remove dirt and road grime.
Cut a piece of fiberglass cloth about an inch larger than the area requiring repair.
Put on gloves. Add the cyanoacrylate adhesive to the plastic container. Place the fiberglass cloth in the container. Soak the fiberglass cloth completely with the cyanoacrylate adhesive. Remove the cloth from the container and cover the damaged area with the cloth. Use your glove-covered hands to smooth out the fiberglass cloth to remove any ridges, creases, or air bubbles.
Hold the cloth with one hand. Use a brush and cover the fiberglass cloth with the accelerator that came with the cyanoacrylate adhesive. Make sure the cloth is completely covered with the accelerator. Once applied, the accelerator reacts with the cyanoacrylate adhesive to harden in just a few minutes, so work quickly.
