Luxury RV Resorts in Northern California

Luxury RV resorts offer more than a campsite with hookups and basic amenities. Some have a customer service desk where you can book escorted tours. Others may offer discounts at golf courses or other sports venues. Luxury resorts can still be in a wooded setting and have a relaxing, low-key feel about them. The difference may be in the way the resort makes you feel like a very welcomed guest.
  1. Vineyard RV Park - Vacaville

    • Located in Vacaville, 68 miles northeast of San Francisco, the Vineyard RV Park does more than provide a campsite for your rig. Book a wine-tasting tour to the Napa Valley or sign up for a trip to Jelly Belly and the Anheuser-Busch facilities. Take a dip in the heated 60-foot-long pool. Throw a party in a clubhouse outfitted with a vintage jukebox, satellite TV, DVD player and wide-screen TV. The clubhouse offers indoor dining as well as an outside dining area with patio heater.

The resort has 60 spaces, all gravel and all with full hookups. The 47 pull-through sites are 64 feet long, and the back-ins are 40 feet. Both 30- and 50-amp service are offered. Campsites have their own patios, picnic tables and access to wireless Internet service. Vineyard RV Park welcomes pets and has two off-leash exercise areas.

Additional amenities include a children’s playground, game room, horseshoe pit and book-exchange library. The resort has showers, restrooms, laundry room and a store that offers sundry items, ice, RV supplies, propane and video rentals.
