RV Park Resorts In Minnesota

Because of the changing seasons, Minnesota is a beautiful place to take your recreation vehicle (RV) for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation. Minnesota has many lakes that are ideal for fishing, canoeing, boating and swimming on your camping trip. The campgrounds have more than enough activities to keep you busy, but are conveniently located near towns with plenty to do and see. If Minnesota isn't your RV destination, it should be.
  1. The Old Barn Resort

    • The Old Barn Resort is located in Preston, south of Rochester. Whether you like to hang out near the RV or take in some activities, The Old Barn Resort has options for you. It is located on a river with canoe, kayak and inner tube rental. The dirt trails throughout the park are great for taking a stroll or riding a bicycle. And because it's located on the Root River State Park trail system, there are miles of blacktop trails for walking, biking, running or rollerblading. At The Old Barn Resort you will also find an 18-hole golf course.

The park has many amenities such as a laundry facility, a restaurant and a bar, an indoor heated pool, and sand courts for volleyball and horseshoes.

There is a store on the premises where you can purchase items you may have forgotten, or food for grilling such as bratwurst and hamburgers. And if you can't find what you are looking for here, it's just a few miles drive into the actual town of Preston, where you will find other stores.

If you are looking to do some sightseeing off the RV park grounds, you are in luck. This resort is in the heart of Minnesota's Amish country. You can find shops with handmade Amish furniture, quilts and wine. In addition, there are caves to explore and museums in the surrounding areas.
