Right next door to PortAventura Theme Park, Caribe Aquatic Park is its own separate entity. At one point, both theme parks used to be part of a Universal Studios park. The smaller of the two parks, Caribe Aquatic, site amid a tropical setting, including palm trees and deck chairs, with reggae music playing in the background so visitors feel as if they are visiting the Caribbean. Caribe Aquatic Park visitors have access to the Port Aventura hotel, the El Paso hotel and the Hotel Caribe Resort, from which visitors can obtain an "Express Pass" for quick entry onto Caribe Aquatic Park's famous water rides.
