• Hydromania water park is located in Italy's capital city, Rome. It's a place to cool off after a long day's sightseeing. The park has a giant wave pool and claims to have the fastest water slide in Italy. There are several bars and restaurants within the park. Hydromania is open from the end of May until September and entrance costs from 16 Euros, approximately $22 USD for adults. Visitors entering the park after 2p.m. pay a discounted rate.

Acqua Park Follonica

• Acqua Park is located on Italy's Tuscan coast. It has many swimming pools and water slides. It also provides daytime activities, such as beach volleyball tournaments for visitors of all ages. In the evenings, the park has entertainment for both adults and children. The park is open from June each year and tickets cost from 18 Euros, or approximately $24 USD for adults. Children under the age of three are admitted free of charge.

Etnaland

• Etnaland is located on the island of Sicily, near the extinct volcano Mount Etna. It is open from June to September. There is no public transport to Etnaland and therefore it is recommended that visitors travel by car. The park has a variety of water slides and in peak season there are daily shows featuring acrobatics and clowns. Etnaland's cable ride provides stunning views of Mount Etna and the Sicilian countryside. Adult tickets cost from 20 Euros, or approximately $26 USD in low season.

Aqualandia

• Aqualandia is located in the lively resort of Lido di Jesolo, on the Venetian Riviera. It is accessible both by car and by public transport. The park is designed as a Caribbean island, complete with palm trees. There are eight separate themed areas, for example the Adrenaline Area, featuring a bungee jumping tower. Aqualandia is open from May to September and tickets cost from 26 Euros, or approximately $32 USD for adults. Half-day admission tickets are also available.
