Soldiers Field Park is one of the larger parks in Rochester, Minnesota. The site offers five parking lots, which can accommodate 312 cars. The park also features softball fields, tennis courts, football fields, soccer fields, volleyball courts, picnic pavilions and a playground. A golf course, complete with a clubhouse and an outdoor swimming pool are available. While you're at the park, pay a visit to the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial located on the property. The memorial honors veterans from southeast Minnesota who died serving the country.

Quarry Hill Park is a 320-acre property that features picnic shelters, a playground, horseshoe pits, baseball and tennis courts, a paved biking path, a fishing pond and parking for about 200 vehicles. A Nature Center on the park grounds routinely offers classes, day camps and tours of the sandstone caves and prehistoric limestone fossil beds in the quarry area. In the wintertime, snowshoes and cross-country skis are available for rent at the center.

Watson Sports Complex contains quite a few sporting facilities. The property is home to baseball and soccer fields, and frequently hosts games, tournaments and championships. When events aren't scheduled, residents and visitors are welcome to use the facilities on the site. The park offers parking spots for nearly 500 cars, as well as a play area for young children and picnic shelters.

Central Park is the host site for many city celebrations, including the Arbor Day event and the ice cream social. The paved plaza, complete with a fountain, is a picturesque feture of the park. Central Park also offers horseshoe pits, picnic pavilions and a shuffleboard court.
Heritage House, which is located on the property, is a restored 19th-century home furnished with Victorian antiques that shows how a local family might have lived during that time.
