Minnesota State Parks Lodging

Minnesota has more than 50 state parks that offer lodging in addition to their many amenities. Visitors can choose from Moose Lake for lodging on the water, for example, Zippel Bay for accommodations set in the woods or Lake Bronson for a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere to stay.
  1. Camp Activities

    • Gooseberry Falls State Park, Scenic State Park and Lake Maria State Park offer bathhouses, hiking and nature tours, ATV trails and horseback riding trails. Community pavilions feature social events all year round and many of the Minnesota State Parks offer children's play areas. While many of the parks are located along a lake or river for swimming, Blue Mounds State Park and Flandrau State Park have heated swimming pools on the premises as well.

    Accommodations

    • Visitors can choose tent-camping, RV campsites or rental cabins as part of their accommodations. Interstate State Park and Camden State Park will allow leashed pets with a small pet deposit.

    Popular Parks

    • Beaver Creek Valley is one of the top choices for Minnesota State Parks. It offers summer hiking trails and winter snow shoe trails as well as heated cabins. Cave tours, snowmobiling and wildlife tours are available for visitors that stay at Mystery Cave State Park, and McCarthy State Park offers a playground, large swimming beach and picnic shelters for events.
