California offers an RV Rewards card. This card gives discounts on camping, camping products and, soon as of May 2010, other merchandise across California. The card is free, but you may have to pay shipping and handling if purchased online. Ultimately this card could save you hundreds of dollars when traveling by RV through California.
Morro Bay's RV parks are mostly located along the ocean shore. All RV campgrounds and resorts are open year-round because the weather never dips below 50 degrees. Most parks are located in the San Luis Obispo area.
Bay Pines Travel Trailer Park has 110 sites with full hook-ups. The campground also has laundry facilities and a swimming pool for guests. Satellite TV is also available, and guests can mingle in a group barbecue area. Pets are welcome, but the campground does have breed and size restrictions. Rates are moderate as well.

Morro Dunes RV Park has 170 sites that are average sized (a width of 18 feet)--141 of the sites have full hook-ups, while 29 have only electricity and water; 35 sites are pull-throughs that can accommodate big rigs. The park offers laundry facilities as well as a small store with basic groceries. Fire rings and picnic tables come with every secluded site as well as Wi-Fi access. Pets are welcome at Morro Dunes RV Park, too.

Morro Strand RV Park has 43 sites with full hook-ups (water, sewage and electricity). Although the park is one of the smaller ones in the area, it has seven sites that are pull-throughs, which are ideal for Class A and other large RVs. There is no tent camping allowed at Morro Strand RV Park. The park has Wi-Fi access and competitive rates ,and pets are welcome.
