Dust the flight instrument panels with a gas duster, also known as canned air duster. Wipe the cockpit glass surfaces, such as the LCD monitors, with a dry cotton towel. Avoid touching or pressing any buttons and switches while cleaning the instrument panels.
Wash cooking and eating utensils such as the coffeepot, plates and forks with detergent on a sponge. Rinse off the dish detergent. Wipe dry the washed items with a dry towel before placing them into their storage area.
Spray the galley counters and cabinet doors with a kitchen cleaning detergent. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Use a towel with a disinfectant cleaning product to clean the toilet and lavatory counters. Make sure you read the product label before using it. Avoid using ingredients that can pose a fire hazard to the aircraft interior. Do not use abrasive solvents that can harm the surface that is to be cleaned.
Vacuum the cockpit and cabin floor. Use appropriate vacuum attachment tools to clean the cockpit and passenger seats and window sills. Be careful not to scratch any surfaces when using the vacuum attachment tool. If the aircraft has leather upholstery, such as leather seats, use a leather cleaning product to wipe such material by following the directions on the product package.
Polish wood surfaces such as tables and seat trims with a wood cleaner. Read and follow the cleaning and polishing instructions on the product container.
Place the seat belts on the seats. Position the buckles so they cross each other.
Collect trash in a garbage bag and set it outside the aircraft.
