Mission San Gabriel Arcángel was a Spanish mission founded in 1771 by the Franciscan order in present-day Los Angeles County, California. The mission was dedicated to the Archangel Gabriel.
The mission grew a variety of crops, including wheat, corn, beans, and grapes. It also raised cattle, sheep, and horses. The mission also manufactured a variety of goods, including soap, candles, and leather goods.
