According to Nevada Revised Statute 202.365, any airsoft gun that is designed to resemble a real firearm must be “marked with a brightly colored plug permanently affixed to the barrel end of such device indicating that it is not a firearm.”
The orange tip must be at least 1/2 inch in diameter and must be visible from a distance of at least 100 feet.
Airsoft guns that are not marked with an orange tip are considered to be dangerous weapons and can be confiscated by law enforcement.
In addition, Nevada law prohibits the possession of airsoft guns by anyone under the age of 18. Airsoft guns are also prohibited in certain public places, such as schools, parks, and playgrounds.
