Snowmobile Clutch Tools

There are only a few tools that accompany in repair and maintaining a useful clutch for snowmobiles. The vehicle will experience tough rides through snow and ice in its lifetime, and should be taken care of. Keeping the clutch durable through its period of use and repairing it whenever it needs to be fixed requires a series of tools.
  1. Clutch-Alignment Tool

    • The clutch-alignment tool (for Comet or Arctic Driven snowmobiles) will help a snowmobile owner keep his clutch and belt aligned for a better driving performance. If a clutch becomes misaligned for a long period of time, it can cause the drive belt and clutch components to wear out quickly.

    Sno Stuff Clutch Holders

    • The sno stuff clutch holder is available for Arctic Cat, Comet and Polaris clutch applications, as it is "used to hold the stationary clutch sheave while assembling/disassembling the clutch," according to Procycledepot. The clutch holder can be bench-mounted or clamped in a vice to serve as a convenient tool for a snowmobile user.

    Drive Clutch Compressor Tools

    • A drive clutch compressor is used to compress and hold the moveable sheave so that a snowmobile user can replace the cam arms without removing the actual clutch from the engine. It can compress and hold the sheave to replace other small parts or components such as weights and pins. It will also allow anyone to clean and lube the clutch without the hassle of removing it.
