Airlines That Service Hawaii

Hawaii has become one of the most visited destinations in the world. Year after year more airlines are gaining the capability to offer service to the islands, and they are also regularly offering sales and packages to woo customers away from their competitors.
  1. Hawaiian Airlines

    • Hawaii's hometown airline, Hawaiian Airlines, calls the Honolulu International Airport home. Since the airline was born in 1929 it has grown from a inter-island airline to an international airline serving 20 destinations both domestic and international. From the mainland, travelers can fly to Honolulu from Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Diego. Once travelers arrive in Honolulu they can connect to flights to the other islands or the Philippines, Australia, American Sonoma or Tahiti. In-flight service on Hawaiian Airlines varies depending on your departure and arrival cities. However, the airline does offer a first-class cabin and in-flight entertainment for all passengers.

The company has always been known for its superior level of customer service and for expanding into markets in which travelers want to go. Alaska Airlines entered the Hawaiian market in late 2007 with non-stop service to Honolulu from the airline's hub in Seattle. Alaska Airlines flies to all of the islands from its Seattle hub, and it offers seasonal service from Anchorage. In addition to its two hub cities, the airline serves Maui from Portland, Sacramento and San Jose, as well as Kona from Oakland and San Jose.
