Provide the shipper with key information, including the make, model and year of the car; the preferred shipping date; the departure city; and the destination. When you choose a carrier, you will likely be required to put down a deposit.
Prepare you car for shipping. Most companies recommend that you leave less than a half-tank of gas in the car, that the car be empty and that all alarm systems be disconnected. Cars to be shipped must have at least 6 inches of ground clearance, so if you have a sports car, check the clearance.
