How to Travel Alaska's Marine Highway

More than 30 Alaskan communities are serviced by the world's longest ferry route. The Alaska Marine Highway consists of several thousand nautical miles that run along the Alaskan coastline. The Alaska State Ferry System runs the Alaska Marine Highway year round. Meals and overnight accommodations are available on the ferries.
