This boutique bed-and-breakfast is located four miles from Dartmouth College. It was built in 1919 by Harry Trumbell, a master builder, and was bought by the current family in 1995. Sitting within 16 acres of grounds, the Trumbull has six bedrooms, each with private bathrooms, cable television and wireless Internet. Founded in 1780, the Hanover Inn is the only accommodation located on the Dartmouth College campus and boasts views over the College Green and of Baker Tower. The inn has rooms with one queen bed or suites with king beds and an additional sofa bed; all include wireless Internet and private bathrooms, and room service is also available. Pierce's Inn is located approximately 10 miles north of Hanover and surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland. The inn is simply furnished; the eight private rooms and two bunk rooms have neither televisions or phones in order to guarantee complete relaxation. Alternatively guests can sit out on the front yard and watch the sun set. The inn's dining room can accommodate up to 95 people and is available for functions and dinner events. In the grounds guests have use of a swimming pool, tennis court and miles of wooded trails for waling, running and biking. Prices are available on request as they depend upon guests' requirements.
