Saint Cloud, Florida is a small town outside of Orlando that has more than two miles of lakefront and many parks, including three campgrounds. To complement an outdoor camping adventure, campers can visit Lake Lizzie Nature Preserve, go horseback riding or go hiking. Peghorn Nature Park with its many trails and wildlife habitats provides another option for outdoor activities.

Idlewood Inn and Cabaret Supper Club restaurants near the campground provide dining options while several attractions, including Saint Cloud Museum and Spirit of the Swamp Airboat Tours with day and night tours, round out activities.

The Floridian RV resort has both parking for RVs and campsites for tent camping. The campground is located by Lake Toho, where you can fish, go boating or sit on the shores and watch the sunset. The resort is a few minutes away from Disney World and close to other popular attractions such as Sea World and Cypress Gardens. The grounds have cable TV hookups, a volleyball court, clubhouses, tennis courts and a playground for the kids. Campers can also indulge in a swimming pool and a whirlpool. Restaurants near the campgrounds include Chimento's Spaghetti House and Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q, which are open for lunch and dinner.

Kissimmee Park Resort is also known as Lake Toho Resort. There are campsites for RVs, campers and mobile homes. The campground does have one-room cabins for rent for those that want a touch of the wilderness during the day but the comforts of a home at night. The grounds have a laundry room, bathhouse, airboat rides, boat slips, bait shop and full hookups on all sites. Campers can fish on the lake, hike the lake trails or visit other Florida attractions, such as Gatorland and Discovery Cove. If you need a night out on the town for dinner, Catfish Place Restaurant and Silver Lining Café are nearby.

Kissimmee/Orlando Koa is about 10 minutes from St. Cloud and close to Disney World, helicopter tours and Universal Studios. The campgrounds have room for RVs and tents, but campers can also rent cabins. Recreational vehicle sites have full hookups with 50 amp service and cable TV available. Campers can go swimming pool, soak in the hot tub, rent bicycles or take part in ice cream socials and karaoke with the entire family. Campers that want a night out have several area restaurants to choose from, including Longhorn Steakhouse and Garibaldi Mexican Cuisine.
