Youth Hostels in the White Mountains of New Hampshire

New Hampshire's White Mountains offer adventure in every season, from downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter and spring to hiking and mountain biking in summer and fall. Numerous lakes and rivers provide opportunities for ice and water sports. The range includes Mount Washington, the highest peak north of the Smoky Mountains and east of the Mississippi. On a clear day, you can see for 100 miles from the peak. Several businesses in the region offer hostel accommodations for adventurous travelers to the area.
  1. White Mountain Hostel

There are five dorm rooms with six bunks apiece, as well as four private rooms that sleep up to five people.

White Mountain Hostel has shared bathrooms, along with a shared kitchen, living room and dining area. It is a smoke- and alcohol-free property. The hostel provides pillows, sheets and blankets. Personal sleeping bags are not allowed. Also, be prepared to leave your shoes at the door; bring socks or slippers to wear inside.
