Hostelling International USA Downtown Boston (H.I.-Boston) is located in the Back Bay neighborhood of downtown. The hostel has private rooms as well as female, male and co-ed dorm rooms. The hostel has 24-hour security, a laundry and a phone-answering service. 40 Berkeley has private single rooms as well as double, triple and quadruple rooms, all with shared bathrooms. YMCA of Greater Boston runs a hostel at its Huntington Avenue location. It offers rooms for both men and women during the summer months. From August through May, accommodations are for men only. The hostel is located in the Back Bay neighborhood and is close to the Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park and the MBTA, greater Boston's public transportation system.
