The Malaysian city of Batu Pahat provides tourists with climbing and hiking activities on Gunung Soga Mountain, less than 20 minutes from the town center. This city is one of the oldest municipalities in Malaysia, with some landmarks dating back to the 15th century. Recreation trails are available at the Dataran Batu Pahat, a park in the heart of the city's downtown area. The Silver Inn was once the Carnival Hotel, founded in 1990.
