EuroBonus partners include three top international hotel chains. Among them Radisson, The Hilton Group and Best Western Hotels have more than 8,000 properties. EuroBonus points can be accumulated by staying at any of the worldwide hotels owned by these three chains. The three groups own and operate recognizable brands like Park Inns, Hampton Inn, Country Inn, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, Doubletree and Homewood Suites. As of 2011, between 300 and 500 points are credited to your EuroBonus account for one stay. Only the Radisson Blu, Radisson Edwardian, Country Inn and limited Best Western properties allow members to use points toward an award reservation.
Many of the EuroBonus partner hotels have the added benefit of accepting awards bookings. With points earned from SAS flights or previous hotel stays, members can reserve and pay for hotel stays with points. Rica, Scandic and Regent hotels all have no limits on awards reservations and require between 10,000 and 21,000 points depending on the location of the hotel and room occupancy, to reserve one night. The majority of the hotels that allow awards stays are in Scandinavia with limited options in Germany, Belgium, France, Asia and Eastern Europe.
The policy of many EuroBonus hotel partners is to award only points for hotel stays. Even though you cannot book an award stay, booking these hotels provides members with an easy way to accumulate more points toward other rewards. Marco Polo, First, Mirvac, Omni, Pan Pacific, Park Royal, The Doyle Collection and Tivoli are the hotel groups that participate in the program. All of the hotels offer 500 EuroBonus points per stay and groups own and operate hotels worldwide.
Kempinski, The Leela Palaces and Resorts, Missoni and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts are among the luxury groups partnered with SAS. These hotels provide five-star luxury in major international cities like Berlin, Beijing and Moscow as well as resorts in vacation hot spots like Bangkok, the Maldives and Fiji. A stay at one of the hotels earns EuroBonus members 500 points. Of these luxury hotels, only Missoni allows members to book an awards stay. Members need 26,000 points to book one night.
