There are some logistical hoops to navigate through when larger families want to travel to Disney World in Orlanda, Fla. Families of six or more people can book multiple rooms at a hotel, but may not be guaranteed they'll be near one another. Vacationers don't need to leave Disney property to find accommodations for their larger groups. Disney Vacation Club properties---the Disney version of the timeshare---are available to non-members for bookings. Two bedroom villas sleep up to eight, with two bathrooms, living area, and a full kitchen. There are seven resorts to choose from, many of which are located within walking distance to Disney theme parks. A stay at DVC property gives guests access to all the Disney on-site amenities like transportation to theme parks, extended theme park hours, and Disney's dining plan.

A budget-conscious option on Disney property is this suite hotel in the Downtown Disney entertainment district. Larger parties will find two-bedroom suites with complementary transportation to Disney theme parks. Suites feature one king and two double beds, with a pullout sofa in the living room. Unlike the other properties listed here, Doubletree Guest Suites do not have full kitchens; however, the hotel is within walking distance of plenty of dining options like House of Blues and Rainforest Café.

Adjacent to Disney property, the Bonnet Creek resort is home to a Wyndham timeshare hotel that is also available for non-members to book. Wyndham Bonnet Creek two-bedroom suites sleep up to eight. Some rooms offer views of Walt Disney World's nightly fireworks. The resort features a large recreational complex with two swimming pools, whirlpool, lazy river, 18-hole miniature golf course and more. Daily transportation to Disney theme parks allows guests to park their car at the resort and forget about it. Also, as a designated Disney "Good Neighbor" hotel, an on-site Disney concierge can provide theme park tickets and expert touring advice.
