Lily Dale is a small community in New York's Chautauqua County. It was established in 1879 as a spiritualist retreat and remains so today, attracting those interested in psychic research and spiritual enlightenment. It is a seasonal hotel which is only open at weekends from 3 p.m. Thursday to 12 p.m. Sunday. The hotel is ideally located for activities taking place within the community as well as the shops, coffee house, cafeteria and museum.
The Brookside Manor hotel is just six miles north of Lily Dale, in Fredonia, New York. It is based in a manor house built in 1875 and sits in 5.5 acres of wooded grounds. It offers high-quality accommodations in a quiet and tranquil setting. A daily gourmet breakfast is available from the hotel's dining room. Dining options nearby include The White Inn, Upper Crust Bake House and De John's Italian. Guests can easily visit Lily Dale from the hotel or perhaps the historic village of Fredonia and The American Legion Park.
