Hotels Near Bandy, VA

Bandy is a small mountain town in southwestern Virginia. Its natural beauty is abundant, but its accommodation options are not. If you're visiting Bandy, chances are you either have family or friends to visit, need to pull-over for the night or are looking for a place to stay before or after a camping trip, as the town itself is very small. In fact, it's so small that the nearest lodging is in other Tazewell County towns. The good news is that within a short, 12-minute drive from Bandy, affordable accommodations are available.

  1. Timberline Lodge

    • Cedar Bluff has the closest hotel to Bandy, 7.7 miles away. The Timberline Lodge is an independently owned budget hotel that offers $60 a night rooms, as of January 2011, with queen beds, desk, wireless Internet, business center, coffee and free parking. Deluxe rooms have two double-beds and a sofa sitting area for $65 a night. The Timberline Lodge is the only hotel in Cedar Bluff.

    • As the name suggests, the Budget Inn in Claypool Hill, only 10 miles from Bandy, emphasizes affordability. Starting at $70 a night, as of January 2011, guests have their choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms which all feature free high-speed Wi-Fi, microwaves and air conditioning. The hotel offers free parking for trucks and buses and free coffee in the mornings. If you're planning a long-term stay in Bandy or the surrounding area, the hotel offers discounts as well as laundry service.

    Super-8 Motel

    • The Super-8 Motel is also a budget hotel within 10 miles of Bandy. This member of the Wyndham hotel chain offers Wyndham Reward points, as well as 25-inch flat-screen TVs with HBO, in-room hairdryers and safe, air conditioning and complimentary breakfast, and accommodates pets at a small additional charge.     • Also in Claypool Hill, the Holiday Inn Express is a new-looking facility with 63 rooms, four of which are handicap accessible. The Holiday Inn is the only hotel in the area offering two-room suites complete with kitchenette. Guests can take advantage of a 24-hour business center, free in-room Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and complimentary breakfast. Pets are allowed to stay for $25 a night and guests can earn Holiday Inn points with their stay. As of January 2011, prices range from $69 to $129 a night.
