Established over 100 years ago as a mining town, Oatman is an Arizona desert town that sits near the border of California and Nevada. Known for staging gunfights, this authentic old western town has one hotel in town and two nearby for tourists looking to experience the Old West.
The oldest two-story adobe structure in Mojave county, Oatman Hotel was built in 1902. The hotel has 10 rooms, most of which cost $35 a night to stay (as of September 2010). The exception, however, is the room the hotel claims was the honeymoon suite for Clark Gable and Carol Lombard spent their first night as a married couple, which costs $55 a night. The hotel has a bar and restaurant.
