Dinnebito is an area in the Utah portion of the Navajo Nation. Traditional Indian culture is important to Dinnebito residents. Sheep provide clothing, wool for rug weaving and food. The Navajo rugs are then sold. Medicine, ceremonies and prayers are centered on local plants and trees. Visitors to the Navajo Nation in Utah can stay on the reservation or right outside the reservation in Tuba City just 13 miles away.
