Waldo is a small town in Alachua County, in the north of Florida. It covers less than two square miles of land and has fewer than 1,000 residents, so many of the hotels in the area are a short drive from Waldo. The town is a stone's throw from Lake Alto and Waldo Canal Park. It is also close to the Santa Fe Swamp Conservation Area.
