Rosebud is a census-designated place in Todd County, South Dakota. Called "Sicangu" in the Lakota language, Rosebud is home to the Rosebud Indian reservation and several Native American agencies, such as the Indian Health Service and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Visitors to Rosebud can stay at one of several franchised hotels in the surrounding area.
Although it is named after Rosebud's casino, this South Dakota Quality Inn is actually located in Mission, another town in Todd County that is about 13 miles from Rosebud. Its 60 rooms include cable television, refrigerators and microwaves, and some offer a whirlpool bathtub. In addition to the Niobrara National Scenic River, the Comfort Inn features the Cowboy Trail, Deer Park Golf Course and the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge among its local attractions.

Children under 17 years of age stay free, and guests may bring pets with permission. Nearby attractions include the Cherry Co. Historical Society Museum and the Valentine Visiting Center, both of which are about a block away.
