Long Valley, New Jersey is part of the Washington Township. It is located in Morris County, in the central northern portion of the state. It is sometimes also referred to as the German Valley. Its population is about 1,800 as of 2011, and it sits at an elevation of 538 feet. Because Long Valley is so small, very few hotels sit within its limits--most are several minutes away.
