Hotels in Kosciusko, Mississippi

The town of Kosciusko in Mississippi is well-known as the birthplace of Oprah Winfrey. The town is also the site of the Natchez Trace Festival that is held in late April every year. The Natchez Trace Parkway can be found along the eastern side of the town. Most of the hotels are located near the parkway and within five minutes of the town's downtown district.

    • The Americas Best Value Parkway Inn is located right off an exit of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Facilities at the hotel include a barbecue and an outdoor swimming pool. Tour buses, trucks and RVs are allowed free of charge.

The rooms, in January of 2011, ranged in price from $65 a night to $105. The hotel is located just off the Natchez Trace Parkway on the southeastern part of town. Although the Super 8 does not have its own restaurant, the Old Trace Grill is located next door on Veterans Memorial Drive.

    • Days Inn Kosciusko/North of Carthage hotel is situated on the Natchez Trace Parkway and south of downtown Kosciusko. The hotel offers a free daily breakfast and has an outdoor swimming pool. Additional facilities include a business center and coin laundry. The Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club is two miles away, while the Tyson Food Plant is within 15 miles of the hotel. The rooms, in January of 2011, were $65 a night. The antique shops and restaurants of downtown Kosciusko are five minutes or less from the Days Inn.

    Maple Terrace Inn

    • The Maple Terrace Inn is a mile and a half from the Natchez Trace Parkway and overlooks the downtown area of Kosciusko from its position on a hill top. Featuring four guest rooms, it is listed on the National Historic Register. The town's antique shops, gift shops and restaurants are within walking distance at two blocks away. Guests can also jog to a gym in this area. Guests receive tea in the afternoon on the inn's screened porch. Guests are served a free breakfast at an establishment that is also within walking distance of the inn. The prices listed from $90 to $125 per night in January of 2011.
