Located in the southwestern part of Kentucky, Gilbertsville is two or less miles away from the Tennessee River, Kentucky Dam and Kentucky Lake. People flock to this area for the many outdoor activities on Kentucky Lake and the adjacent Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.     • The Cinderella Motel in Gilbertsville is located two miles from the Kentucky Dam Marina and a half mile from the Tennessee River boat ramp. Rooms in January of 2011 started in the $50 a night range. Three miniature golf courses are three or less minutes away in Gilbertsville, which is two miles from the recreational opportunities at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.

    Ken-Bar Lodge

    • The Ken-Bar Lodge is located on U.S. Highway 641 in Gilbertsville. The rooms in January of 2011 started at $50 a night. Guests receive a free breakfast at a hotel that also has two computers in its lobby. The Ken-Bar Lodge also has a restaurant open during the warmer months, plenty of room for boat trailers, barbecue grills and a lawn area with tables and chairs for picnics. Situated within two minutes of the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, the hotel is also 15 minutes away from the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Twilight Cabaret Production holds musical and comedy shows at the lodge. The Kentucky Dam Marina is 200 feet from the lodge.

    Cloverleaf Inn

    • The Cloverleaf Inn is on U.S. Highway 62 in Gilbertsville and on the western border of the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park. The Kentucky Dam State Airport Park is also less than one mile from the inn. Kentucky Lake can be reached in approximately two minutes. The limited features at this no-frills establishment include a free breakfast, microwaves and refrigerators in the units, and electric hookups for boats in front of the front doors of the rooms. The rooms listed at less than $50 a night in January of 2011.

    Moors Resort & Marina

    • The Moors Resort & Marina has both lakeside cottages and a log cabin lodge. The cottages are situated along Kentucky Lake and come with full kitchens and charcoal grills. Some of the cottages also have whirlpools. The smaller cottages started at $76 a night in January of 2011. The cheapest rooms at the lodge, which features a meeting room with a cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace, were $49 per evening. The Moors Resort has its own restaurant that is open from early March until late October and specializes in Southern cuisine. Additional features include an outdoor swimming pool, a miniature golf course and a marina with dock slips.
