Rangeley is located in the western part of Maine and has a population of about 1,000 citizens. It is known for its cold mountain climate and sports fishing. Because of the quality of the fishing, the town has become a popular resort destination with cabins, camps, inns, summer homes and motels nearby. The Stratton Motel is located in the village of Stratton, Maine, about 14 miles outside of Rangeley. Stratton Motel offers amenities such as cable TV, Wi-fi and Internet access. These cottages are about six miles outside of Rangeley, where guests enjoy a view of Rangeley Lake and Saddleback Mountain.
