Hotels in Wareham, Massachusetts

In 1678 the area now known as Wareham was settled and considered a part of the towns of Rochester and Plymouth. In 1739 it was named Wareham after a town in the county of Dorset, England. Back then, ship building was its main industry. Today, it's visited mainly for its retail attractions along Routes 6 and 28. Coastal areas to visit include Parkwood Beach and Onset Beach. There's the Water Whiz Water Park for the kids and the Captain John Kendrick Maritime Museum to see. So it's a great place to relax in one of the local, comfortable hotels and enjoy a vacation or business trip.
