Palmyra is a borough rich in history. In 2011 it celebrates its 250th anniversary. Located in Lebanon County it is near Hershey Park, Hershey Chocolate World, Indian Echo Caverns, Mount Hope Winery, Mount Gretna and the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. For those who enjoy gambling there is also Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course. The Hershey Medical Center is also located nearby. It is also the location of many shots for John Travolta's 2000 film Lucky Numbers.
