Wichita has the feel of a big city without all the hustle and bustle. The Castle Inn Riverside is located in the Scottish-style Campbell Castle, built in 1888 and complete with a castle tower that houses several of the bed and breakfast inn's 14 rooms. Six of the available rooms are suites with whirlpool tubs, and three of them are located within the adjacent Carriage House. As of 2011, room rates ranged from $125 to $275, depending on the room and the time of year. In addition to a daily breakfast, room rates include nightly dessert, coffee and tea, as well as wine, cheese and a variety of other beverages on weekend evenings.
Vermilion Rose Bed and Breakfast is housed in an 1887 Queen Anne-style home in a historic neighborhood of downtown Wichita. The building offers four rooms, each with its own private restroom and shower. Each room has different decor and amenities, with available options including a brick fireplace, bathtubs, antique wardrobes and a four-poster bed.
