Courtyard by Marriott Birmingham Downtown at UAB

• The Courtyard by Marriott is located in downtown Birmingham right on UAB's campus next to the UAB hospital. Consequently, the hotel is within walking distance of most buildings on the UAB campus. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop located in the seven-story hotel, which has 115 rooms, seven suites and seven conference rooms. The hotel is an official UAB hotel.

Hyatt Place

• The Hyatt Place in downtown Birmingham is another official UAB hotel. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the university. As of January 2011, the hotel offers parking to hotel guests for $8 per day. The hotel is also located within driving distance of other Birmingham attractions, including the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, the Birmingham Zoo, the McWane Science Center and downtown dining establishments.

Doubletree Hotel Birmingham

• Located within walking distance of UAB, the Doubletree Hotel is only two blocks from the UAB hospital.
