Hotels in the North Area of Scottsdale, Arizona

The city of Scottsdale is a rapidly growing community in the Phoenix area. The city features more than 170 golf courses, 500 restaurants and numerous outdoor activities. In the northern part of the city is one of the area's premier business centers, the Scottsdale Airpark, and the Scottsdale Airport. Those looking to stay in the northern parts of Scottsdale have many options.

  1. Four Seasons

    • Located near Pinnacle Peak, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is flanked by the Troon North golf club. The hotel features more than 200 rooms and more than 20 suites, all with gas fireplaces. Available at the Four Seasons are three restaurants and a bar, and two tennis courts and guided tours of Pinnacle Peak Park. As of early 2011, room rates at the Four Seasons in northern Scottsdale begin at $399.

    Hilton Garden Inn

    • The Hilton Garden Inn located just of the 101 Loop in the northern part of the city. Each of the guest rooms at this hotel has either one king- or two queen-sized beds and free high-speed Internet access. Handicap-accessible rooms are also available. As of January 2011, rates begin at $299 per night.

    Villa Mirage

    • Located near the TPC at Sawgrass, a PGA-pro golf course, the Scottsdale Villa Mirage is also in the northern part of Scottsdale. This hotel features on on-site fitness center, on-site parking and a pool. Inside each room are a DVD player, air conditioning unit and access to a balcony or terrace area. The average daily rate at the hotels, as of January 2011, is $149.

    Hampton Inn

    • There are two Hampton Inns in the greater Scottsdale area, but it is the Hampton Inn & Suites of Phoenix/Scottsdale that is the northernmost of the two. There are more than 120 rooms at his hotel, which features free wireless Internet connections, an on-site convenience store and a complimentary breakfast. A search in January 2011 showed the room rates to range between $234 and $269.
