A membership to the arboretum is required to rent any of their facilities.
Located about 20 miles outside of New Carlisle, Cooper's Farm is a family-owned farm that accommodates up to 240 people for a reception with all dishes prepared from scratch. The ceremony takes place in the outdoor wedding garden under an arch with a view of the farmlands and a tree line in the distance. The grounds are covered with manicured lawns and gardens.
The Ormont Estate specializes in weddings from May through October. Tour the grounds and pick the perfect spot for your ceremony. A large tent is available for the reception. The estate offers a list of recommended caterers and vendors. Space is available for an eight-hour rental period with three hours the night before available for setting up the grounds. The Ormont Estate is about 23 miles outside of New Carlisle.
The Great Stone Castle is listed with the National Register of Historic Places. There are four floors throughout the castle. The second floor contains rooms available for rental by guests while the first floor contains the ballroom, banquet room and turret rooms. Outdoor weddings are performed among the flower gardens in front of a stone gazebo. The staff at the castle are available to help plan all aspects of the wedding. They offer an in-house disc jockey or master of ceremony. The Great Stone Castle is located about 32 miles outside of New Carlisle.
