Newfoundland, New Jersey is an unincorporated area in the northern part of the state. Once a popular tourist destination, Newfoundland is situated along the routes of several major railroads and U.S. Route 23. More recently, Newfoundland was used as a location for the film "The Station Agent." The train station that was used in the filming of that movie is located in an area of Newfoundland known as West Milford. There are a number of different hotel options in the Newfoundland area.
