Bingen is a small city in southern Washington State that is located just across the Hood River from Oregon. Although the city was incorporated back in 1924, the population remains small with only 672 residents as of the 2000 census. Bingen's most notable feature is its close proximity to the Hood River which attracts thousands of visitors annually.
