Rosewell is a rural area in eastern Virginia on the York River that was once home to a 3,000-acre plantation. A grand mansion was the star of the once famous plantation, and it housed the Page family beginning in 1725. In 1916, a fire devastated the mansion, and all that remains today is a shell featuring an historic example of the brickwork and craftsmanship of the era. Visitors to the historic plantation will not find accommodation in the immediate area, but nearby cities provide several options.
