Loxahatchee, Florida, is located west of West Palm Beach, near the northern border of the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. It is considered a rural community, despite its relatively close proximity to West Palm Beach. While there are no hotels and only one bed and breakfast directly within Loxahatchee, there are several options only a short drive away in nearby Wellington.

Nearby restaurants (within two miles) include Boonie's and Sneaky Pete's Restaurant and Bar.
Only 11 minutes from Loxahatchee, the Royal Inn Hotel is located on the shores of Lake Challenger. At the center of the complex is an Olympic-size pool with a tropically landscaped deck. There is a Mexican restaurant on site with an outdoor tiki Bar. Also located nearby is Trees Wings and Ribs, which delivers to the hotel until midnight. There are many amenities nearby, including a shopping mall and a hospital. Nearby attractions include beaches, golf courses, and the Panther Ridge Conservation Center, which provides a home for cougars, jaguars, cheetahs and other big cats. Tours are given by appointment only, so call ahead.
Also located in Wellington, the Hampton Inn and Suites is the closest hotel to the Wellington Palm Beach International Equestrian Club and Polo Club, which hosts a Winter Equestrian Festival each year. The hotel will also arrange tours of the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge for you, as well as scuba-diving trips in nearby West Palm Beach. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast. Nearby restaurants include Buca Deppepa, Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill.
Located approximately 20 minutes from Loxahatchee, the Clarion Inn Turnpike is conveniently located off of the Ronald Reagan Turnpike. In addition to standard amenities, the hotel has an outdoor heated pool and tennis courts. There is a Perkins Restaurant and Bakery on the premises, and hotel guests receive a discount. The Brass Monkey Bar is also adjacent to the property, and Red Lobster is within a mile of the hotel.
